Whoops...

I got a little careless with clicking around in the SquareSpace editor and accidentally deleted all of the Games List from the sidebar.

I've contacted SS to ask about an easy "undelete" function, but I'm afraid that I'll have to just type it all back in again.

See ya...

Name Change...Introducing Dunker's Blog...

I've decided that the Club should be focused on more than just my activities and since the "Pile of Shame" was my personal project, I've changed the name of this section to "Dunker's Blog" and dropped the link down under the Twitter box.

I also plan to put into this Blog other things like videos and essays...whatever strikes my fancy.

See ya...

Final Fantasy II...from (GBA)Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls

Got a rough start this month, but I've started cranking on Final Fantasy II...

I wanted to play around a bit with the names like I did in FF1, so I put RITS in front of the first two letters of each of the original names...

I always wanted to know how long the "instant-death opening boss" convention of RPGs has been around...apparently, at least as long as FF2...hehe

Afterwards, three party members were reunited leaving an empty slot. (Wow, I've seen this before too) the slot has been filled so far by Minwu and Josef...

I came across two other things that amused me...apparently one of my party members can talk to beavers...and the fourth boss tried to kill my party "Indiana Jones" style...(Thanks to Flargoz...LINK...for the video)

Final Fantasy...from (GBA)Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls(final)

This text reminded me of Captain Planet...LINK...

"Go Planet!!!" ...hehe

Working my way down to the final boss...I got the pleasure of killing the previous bosses again...

The final boss ended up being a "rebirth" of Garland, the very first mini-boss...so mini in fact that I didn't even bother getting a screenshot of him the first time I met him...

Garland ended up being a big pain in the ass...I had to fight him five times before I properly beat him...The first and second times, I didn't realize that I needed NulAll to reduce his elemental attacks...he can do the big AoE attacks that the previous bosses can do...

The third time I actually beat Garland and stood up and shouted YES!!!...I let the final credits roll, backed up my recording to begin capturing screenshots and found out that I had my recorder hooked up wrong...Fail Trombone...

The fourth time I fought him...I was so pissed about my mistake that I screwed up my debuff order and lost...ARRGH!!!...so I took a break...the final time I fought him I was doing amazingly...none of my characters got below 50% HP, so I decided to "Finish Him!!!"...but he decided to focus all of his attacks on my White Wizard...I finished the fight by hitting him hard and using up like 7 Phoenix Downs...

Well...I'm done with FF1...it took almost 28 hours and I almost reached the level cap of 99...

This was actually a very fun experience...I'm glad I did it.

Final Fantasy...from (GBA)Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls(cont.8)

The Rosetta Stone I found earlier allowed me to learn Lufenian...thus letting me hear the story of the airships and Cid...

Earlier, I found a Warp Cube and a little robot dude told me that I could travel to an airship fortress...While exploring, I discovered some adamantite...

Tiamat, the Fiend of Wind,  met me on the lowest floor and made a lot of noise, but he went down without much of a fuss...

I brought the adamantite to the Dwarven Mines and a blacksmith made Excalibur for me...the best sword in the game...
